Access to Emergency Services (999) is available for UK based customers, who must register to access this service. Red services use the Internet for making calls so please always ensure that you have alternative emergency access methods in the event of an Internet connection failure.
For users to access emergency services, they must register a UK address for their UK geographic number and agree to the service terms and conditions.
Dialling 999 will connect you to emergency call centre operators, who will put you through to the appropriate emergency services agency. Your CLI (caller line identification) will be sent to emergency services, so that your location can be determined. It is important that your address details are accurate and kept up to date.
Please note that Red is an Internet telephony service, so any internet outages prevent emergency calling access. It is important that all users of the service are aware of this and we suggest appropriate alternative access measures are in place.
Log into your Red account and register your UK address details now!
